$SP.00) is a son of Headwater that is on debut. He has had extensive trial work to get ready for start one, the latest piece of work seeing him run third here on March 14 and moved well enough to my eye. I say watch betting and see what it does.

He ran over 1200m at Sha Tin last time when near the speed throughout and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there behind Fast Network. Gets in very well after the claim, should lead and take running down.

$SP.00) comes here with fresh legs, four weeks between runs since racing over 1200m here when just off the speed and just failed to come on when down the track. Fresh legs and back to 1000m, he’ll run a positive race.

He ran in a solid Class 3 over this track/distance three weeks ago when back off the speed and took a little while to wind into his work but he was pretty good late in the piece. Back to Class 4 grade, lands in a great spot from the gate…keen on his prospects.

$SP.00) is a veteran that does run well at the track/distance and is one for exotics. He ran over the trip here last Wednesday where he got back off the speed and just whacked in the run to the line behind Top Time. Maps to do no work and be effective late.

He hasn’t raced for four weeks since a track/distance win where he sat on speed and was trucking before being clicked up and away he went to win quite impressively. He tumbles in weight, good racing style, he takes beating.
