19 year old Aryan Shah stuns top seed in Segovia
India’s rising star Aryan Shah continued his impressive run by upsetting top seed Duje Ajdukovic in the first round of the ATP Challenger 75 in Segovia, Spain. The 19-year-old fought back from a set down to clinch a 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory on the hard courts.
Ranked 442, Shah showed resilience and maturity beyond his years against the Croatian, who entered the tournament ranked 267 in the world. This marks Shah’s third-best career win by opponent ranking—all achieved within the past week.
