Chilakalapudi Reaches Doubles Final at ITF W15 Las Palmas
Indian player Sravya Shivani Chilakalapudi partnered with Denmark’s Emma Kamper to reach the Doubles Final at the ITF W15 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in Spain, marking her first ITF Doubles Final of 2025.
The third-seeded pair had a solid run to the final, notably defeating top seeds Berecoechea and Tran 6-2, 6-1 in the semifinals. They also recorded wins against the Mdlulwa sisters from South Africa (6-3, 6-4) in the quarterfinals and Freya Peet/Alosiia Reva (6-4, 6-0) in the opening round.
In the final, Chilakalapudi and Kamper fell to second seeds Allen and Wirges in three sets, losing 1-6, 6-2, [6-10] after pushing the match to a deciding tiebreak.
The result adds to Chilakalapudi’s steady progress on the ITF circuit this year.
