Madhurima Sawant wins the W15 Doubles Crown

In a striking display of teamwork, Madhurima Sawant (India) and Savannah Broadus (USA) emerged victorious in the doubles event at the ITF W15 tournament held in Kayseri, Turkey. Their win adds a significant feather to both their caps, especially for Sawant, who continues to build her credentials on the international circuit.

In the finals they were up against the 4th seeded Turkish – Ukrainian pair of Selina Atay and Mariia Bergen. Sawant and Broadus got the better of them in straight sets 7-6(2) 6-3. The Indo-American pair were dominant throughout this campaign as they only dropped one set on their way to the title.

The victory marks a high point in Madhurima Sawant’s doubles career, offering confidence and momentum. She’s progressively making her presence felt on the international stage, and this title will help in improving her doubles ranking and attracting attention for future partnerships. Broadus is already an accomplished doubles player at the ITF level, with multiple titles to her name.  She brings experience and tactical acumen, which likely complemented Sawant’s energy and shot-making. Together, they formed a cross-continental pairing that evidently gelled well under pressure.
