$SP.00) looks to have returned really well for Matty Dunn and is one of the hardest to beat after her return at Doomben two weeks ago behind Yoyo Yeezy, getting back in the run and was held up at times but loved the way she closed off her race late. If within range, I think her finale may be too much.

19 Extreme Diamond (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) should be forgiven for his last start effort at Doomben over this trip. He just got too far out of his ground and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was far from disgraced in defeat. If he can be within range and settle closer, he has the finale to win.

Long Shot

6 Cho Oyu (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is a Lockwood/Vincent trained gelding that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since Aug 2 over 1400m here when producing an end of prep run behind Redzoust. Given a good break, trialled well and stable can get them ready fresh so watch betting.

5 Tajawal (Bet Now: $4.50) has been pretty good this time in for Declan Maher and comes here off the back of a dominant win at Ipswich where he looked a good thing on paper and despite a few nervous moments in the run, class came to the fore and he was much too good. He can go on with it.

3 Rattle And Hum (Bet Now: $4.00) is knocking on the door for Michael Freedman. He ran second over 2200m here two weeks ago, trying his guts out but just found one better in Savannah Gangster. He’s found positive form now, he can certainly go on with it.

4 Dillian (Bet Now: $8.50) should be better for the first up run, which came over 2070m at Doomben where he got back to near last in the run and made up minor headway but was never really threatening. Fitter and up in trip, good upside to come, I say he’s dangerous at odds.

9 More Trouble (Bet Now: $9.00) should be ready to go and is one of the hardest to beat after racing over 1350m at Doomben. He just found them a bit sharp but he stayed on and was quite good in defeat I thought behind Voracious. Hard fit, 1600m, he appeals.

12 Midnight Spirit (Bet Now: $4.40) steps up to the mile after racing over 1400m here two weeks ago. He did early work to land on speed and did try hard but just felt the pinch late behind Special Artist. I think with a more economical run in transit, he can bounce back.

$SP.00) comes back to town after a midweek win at Ipswich where the market said he was pretty much a good thing and won as such, drawing clear late from off speed to win and win well. Flying this guy and off that performance, he has to be respected.

That win came over the mile at Doomben, sitting on speed and credit to him, he was there to be beaten but he found under pressure to fend them off and score. Good racing style, he’ll be around the mark.

5 Naval Seal (Bet Now: $12.00) steps up to 1800m after racing over the mile at Doomben two weeks ago. He got into a decent spot in transit just off the speed and did try hard but just couldn’t quite get there and whacked late behind Perfect Play. Like him up in trip on the bigger track, he’s dangerous.

11 Man Of The Town (Bet Now: $9.00) comes back to town after a midweek win at Ipswich where the market said he was pretty much a good thing and won as such, drawing clear late from off speed to win and win well. Flying this guy and off that performance, he has to be respected.

3 King Yoshi (Bet Now: $4.80) looks the likely leader and from there, he’ll take running down, as seen first up at the Sunny Coast where he led throughout and he gave nothing else a look in to win and win well. He should hold the lead from the gate and be hard to get past.

9 Zoubaby (Bet Now: $8.50) is an interesting runner. Formerly with Team Freedman, she now finds herself with Tony Gollan. Latest run was Derby Day at this track/distance when off speed and tried hard but had to settle for a second to Hearts Are Better. Liked the way she moved in a recent trial and she has a touch of quality about her when right.

7 Memoria (Bet Now: $17.00) comes back to 1000m after racing over 1250m at Canterbury where she just found the trip a bridge too far and was never really a factor behind Balkans. She is a short course type so 1000m suits and strikes a winnable race with her best.

2 Paradoxium (Bet Now: $2.25) should be winning this. Not sure he beat a great bunch of juveniles at Wyong but the manner in which he did it from the front…boy he was impressive, the way he put them away and how arrogant he was on the line. He’ll take a power of beating against these and all things being equal, should win.

1 Tornado Valley (Bet Now: $3.60) has been given a let up since a win at Flemington during Cup Week, finishing best on the shifty track to win the Maribyrnong Plate. Has eyes on the Magic Millions and a tick over trial was quite good.

Long Shot

3 Zip Lock (Bet Now: $6.00) has been given a mini freshen up for Team Munce since a debut win at Doomben on Nov 15 over 1200m. He gave them a start and a beating, knuckling down with purpose late to win and win well. Tick over trial last week at Doomben was quite good and he has that 1200m run under the belt, plus the form has been franked. Right in the mix.

7 Miss Joelene (Bet Now: $2.60) is on top. Should have won at the Sunny Coast two back but was given a sore back by Cejay. She made amends on the mare in the Tails Stakes two weeks ago, giving them a start and a beating in a very impressive display. Just needs clear air to the outside and I think she’ll round them up again.

1 Amor Victorious (Bet Now: $4.40) can bounce back hard against these. Track was too wet in The Gong. He found firmer footing in The Ingham and while held by Yorkshire, I thought he was far from disgraced in defeat. Much better suited at this level, he lands on speed and takes running down.

Long Shot

3 Encoder (Bet Now: $27.00) is an interesting runner. Michael Freedman trained gelding that resumes, I dare say with eyes on winning the Subzero at the Gold Coast. He hasn’t raced since Oct 11 when far from disgraced in the QLD Cup behind Walsh Bay. Two strong trials under the belt, I say he’ll run a positive race here.

3 Payline (Bet Now: $9.50) is very dangerous for Team Munce. He ran so well during the Melbourne Spring but couldn’t quite crack it for a win. Freshened up for the Summer here and a tick over trial win last week was quite sharp so keen to see how he goes.

9 Pereille (Bet Now: $8.50) takes beating here for Tony Gollan after his runner up effort in the George Moore where the race shape wasn’t really suited to him and he was held up at times but was pretty good late when clear when second to Caballus. Eagle Farm 1200m looks ideal, he’s a key chance.

Long Shot

6 Lubrication (Bet Now: $41.00) comes through the George Moore from three weeks back at Doomben where the race shape was totally against him but despite that, I thought he closed off pretty well in defeat behind Caballus. Like him on the bigger track, he’ll get good cover and launch late.

19 Dialidae (Bet Now: $20.00) comes to town for Lockwood/Vincent after a dominant win at the Sunny Coast, leading throughout and she gave nothing else a look in to win and win quite well. Heading in the right direction and I think she can measure up here in what is a winnable race.

9 Chief Witness (Bet Now: $4.50) is flying for Team Munce and is one of the hardest to beat. He ran a few weeks ago at Doomben and was a real eye catcher from the back when third to the very much in form Ready To Schipp. Back to where he likes racing, can settle closer, takes beating I say.

7 Spanish Fox (Bet Now: $19.00) is third up from a spell and should be at peak fitness. Just looked in need of the run fresh at the Gold Coast before going to Doomben when off speed and just whacked in the run to the line behind Ready To Schipp. Hard fit now, his best is clearly good enough to take this out.

Long Shot

5 Excelladus (Bet Now: $15.00) creates interest. Formerly with Joe Pride, he now finds himself with Stuart Kendrick. Not too many improve when they leave Joe Pride so in that regard, he is an interesting runner. Recent trial was encouraging and fresh at 1400m signals intent so watch betting.

NEXT BEST: Race Five Number 3 King Yoshi

LONG SHOT: Race Three Number 9 More Trouble
