Bains-Bhosale Partnership Delivers Le Neubourg Doubles Crown

Rutuja Bhosale and Naiktha Bains

Rutuja Bhosale’s 2025 doubles campaign added another chapter of excellence at ITF W75 Le Neubourg, where the Indian star claimed her third ITF doubles title from six final appearances this year.

As the second seeds alongside Britain’s Naiktha Bains, Bhosale delivered a week of controlled tennis that showcased her doubles prowess. The duo’s path began with a commanding 6-4, 6-2 quarterfinal victory over Denmark’s Olivia Gram and France’s Alyssa Reguer, setting the tone for what would unfold.

The semifinals saw Bhosale and Bains cruise past fourth seeds Tiphanie Lemaitre and Marie Mattel with another clinical 6-4, 6-2 display. The French pair struggled to match the Indo-British combination’s tactical sharpness throughout.

The final against third seeds Polina Iatcenko and Sofya Lansere proved to be the week’s most dramatic encounter. After cruising through the opening set 6-2, Bhosale and Bains found themselves at the backfoot when their opponents leveled the match winning the second set 6-1. The championship tiebreak became a test of nerves and execution. Eventually, the 10-6 tiebreak victory sealed the Doubles Crown for the pair, marking Rutuja’s 3rd ITF Doubles Title this year,

With half of her final appearances converting to titles in 2025, Rutuja continues to prove her doubles credentials at the ITF level.
