Browns Met With Top WR Prospect
The Cleveland Browns had the lowest-scoring offense in the NFL last season at just 15.2 points per game, and after doing very little in free agency to make sure the offense doesn’t sputter to that extent in 2025, all signs are pointing toward the draft being the avenue where this team makes big offensive improvements.
Cleveland desperately needs a heavy influx of talent on offense, and one recent top wide receiver prospect who they met with could do exactly that.
Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz shared on X Monday that the Browns are one of a number of teams that have completed a top-30 visit with Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan.
“Sources: Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan has visited the #Cowboys, #Raiders, #Chargers, #Patriots, #Browns, #Seahawks, #Panthers and #Saints. I’m told he has 3 more visits lined up as well. One executive from a 2024 playoff team: “He’s got true star-level tools and elite production. Our entire building loves him. There’s just no way he makes it to us.”

Cleveland doesn’t have much to get excited about at wide receiver outside of Jerry Jeudy, who enjoyed a career year in his first season with the Browns despite catching passes from four different starting quarterbacks.
McMillan had an outstanding three-year career at Arizona and posted 2,721 yards and 18 touchdowns over the past two seasons, which at one point had many draft experts projecting him to be the first receiver off the board, perhaps in the top seven or eight picks.
His stock looks to be dropping in recent mocks, which puts him in play for the Browns either at the top of the second round, or potentially the back of the first round if Cleveland decides to package some of its ten picks in order to move back up.
McMillan and his 6’4″ frame would be a huge weapon and a welcome addition for whoever this team’s quarterback is in 2025.
