Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony said: “The hallmarks of the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-Up Sale are quality and diversity and these were amply demonstrated both on the racecourse and in the sales ring in 2024, with Guineas flag-bearer and perennial leading stayer Trueshan winning his tenth group/listed race, Five-Thousand guineas purchase Anshoda becoming the sale’s latest group-winning 2-year-old, and group winner Village Voice selling for 1,300,000 guineas at the Scepter Sessions of the Tattersalls December Mares Sale.

“This year’s UAE Oaks winner Queen Azteca is the latest of a remarkable 42 group/listed performers for the Guineas Breeze Up Sale since 2022, and this year’s catalog features a strong selection of quality 2-year-olds that should appeal to domestic and international buyers in all sectors of the market, alongside the second largest horses in training section in the sale’s history.”
