IPL 2025: Who is Harsh Dubey, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s replacement for R Smaran?
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has named Harsh Dubey as the replacement for the injured R Smaran for the remainder of the IPL 2025 season.
Dubey is an all-rounder and plays domestic cricket for Vidarbha.
In Vidarbha’s triumphant Ranji Trophy 2024-25 campaign, the 22-year-old Dubey took 69 wickets, setting a new record for most scalps in a single season. He also scored 476 runs and was named the ‘Player of the Tournament.’
Overall, Dubey has 127 wickets and 941 runs against his name from 16 T20s, 20 List A and 18 First-Class matches.
He joins SRH for Rs 30 lakh.
SRH, placed ninth with six points in 10 games, hosts Delhi Capitals on Monday.
