Ahmedabad, [Date 26 march] – Rising local tennis stars Aryan Shah and Dev Javia made an impressive start at the ITF M25 Tennis Tournament, being held at the prestigious Altevol Sports Academy in Ahmedabad. Both players showcased exceptional skill and determination to sail through their respective first-round matches.
Aryan Shah delivered a commanding performance against Minjong Park of South Korea, securing a dominant 6-2, 6-2 victory. Displaying a fine blend of powerful serves and sharp volleys, Shah controlled the match from start to finish, leaving little room for his opponent to counter. His strategic play and aggressive net approaches proved too strong for Park, ensuring a smooth passage into the next round.
Meanwhile, Dev Javia faced a stiff challenge against fellow Indian competitor Abhinav Sanjeev but rose to the occasion with his resilient defensive skills and clutch serving. Javia edged past Sanjeev in a thrilling contest, prevailing 7-6 (7-4), 7-5.
