Mayank Yadav makes training return for Lucknow Super Giants ahead of Rajasthan Royals game
Mayank Yadav has been training with the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for the last couple of days, after being cleared by the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence.
While the young speedster underwent a few fitness checks and bowled long spells in the nets, LSG batting coach Lance Klusener remained tight-lipped over his availability for the crucial IPL fixture against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday.
“Mayank is with us, obviously. You probably saw him bowling in the nets as well. More than that as the batting coach, I’m not really sure. But obviously we’ve received him back from the NCA, which is a good thing,” Klusener said.

“It’s good to have him bowling in the nets. And I’m sure he’ll go from strength to strength as the comp goes. And I’m sure we’ll see him in the colours of LSG sometime soon,” he added.
Mayank’s last competitive game was back in October 2024 when he featured in a T20I against Bangladesh.
