Sai Karteek Reddy Ganta Clinches ITF M15 Doubles Title in Thailand


Nakhon Pathom, Thailand – India’s Sai Karteek Reddy Ganta, partnering with Thailand’s Thantub Suksumrarn, captured the men’s doubles title at the ITF M15 tournament in Nakhon Pathom this week. The fourth-seeded pair defeated the Indo-Japanese duo of Atharva Sharma and Yuta Tomida in a hard-fought final.

The summit clash saw Ganta and Suksumrarn edge out Sharma and Tomida with a final score of 7-6(0), 6-3. The first set was a tightly contested affair, leading to a tie-break where the Indo-Thai pair displayed complete dominance, winning it 7-0 without dropping a single point. They carried this momentum into the second set, securing a crucial break to clinch the match and the championship.

Their path to the title was impressive, highlighted by a significant victory over the top-seeded team in the semifinals. This victory marks a successful week for Ganta, who has now won his first professional doubles title of the 2025 season and his eighth career title overall.

For fellow Indian Atharva Sharma, it was a second runners-up finish in a professional doubles event this season, underscoring his consistent performances on the tour.
