10% share in last year’s Slipper runner-up available on Inglis Digital
A share in the colt who failed by just a head to win last year’s Golden Slipper is up for grabs with Coleman featuring in Inglis Digital’s April (Early) Online Sale, which is active now.
A 10 percent share in the son of Pierata is available and was immediately popular with $80,000 being the leading bid at 4.30pm on Friday.
Coleman was one of the top colts of his generation at two, winning the Listed Debutant Stakes and Group 3 Chairman’s Stakes at his first two starts, before finishing down the track as favourite in the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes.
He bounced back to place in the Group 3 Pago Pago Stakes before going down narrowly to Lady Of Camelot in the Golden Slipper before another Group 1 placing when third in the ATC Sires’.
His best result in five starts as a three-year-old was a second placing in the Group 2 Roman Consul Stakes last spring and he has since been transferred from his original trainer, Matt Laurie, to Chris Waller.
Coleman is in work and being prepared for a crack at the Brisbane Winter Carnival with the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 and the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap potential targets.
Other high-profile lots in the sale that will commence final bids from 10am Wednesday are Bout, a sister to Flying Artie who is in-foal to Shinzo, a stallion share in Russian Revolution and the Capitalist gelding Aardvark, who won last year’s Listed Talindert Stakes.
