Following their win, the champions spoke to the press, sharing their thoughts on the final match. Ho revealed their pre-match strategy, stating, “Before the match we talked about how we’re gonna play against them and it worked pretty well. And the last game I served, unbelievable. And we really trust ourselves and that makes us to win this title. And I’m very happy about it.”
Chandrasekar, reflecting on the victory, said, “It’s been a while since I won a title, so it feels surreal. And I’m really happy about the way we played the whole week, the way we carried each other, the amount of positive vibes we had as a team. So all of it fell in place and we’re just happy with the win and it’s a great feeling to have.”
Both players were enthusiastic about the support they received from the crowd. Chandrasekar expressed his gratitude, stating, “The crowd was incredible. And especially the amount of support that we got. They are partially responsible for carrying us through today’s match, so I’m really thankful to them.”
