Vaidehee Chaudhari / Dayeon Back Finish Runners-up at ITF W35 Monastir
Indian player Vaidehee Chaudhari, partnering with Korea’s Dayeon Back, reached the Doubles Final at the ITF W35 Monastir in Tunisia, marking her second ITF Doubles Final of 2025.
The second-seeded Indo-Korean pair came agonizingly close to the title, falling to Mcgiffin and Tomase in a tight three-set final 6-3, 3-6, [8-10]. Despite taking the opening set convincingly, they were unable to close out the match after the opponents leveled in the second set.
Chaudhari and Back had earned their final spot with a solid semifinal victory over third seeds Adams and Lee, winning 7-6(3), 6-1. Their path to the final also included wins over Kanon Sawashiro/Beatrise Zeltina (6-1, 7-6(4)) in the quarterfinals and Valeria Bhunu/Lina Soussi (6-3, 6-1) in the opening round.
Earlier this year, Vaidehee captured the W35 Nonthaburi Doubles Title alongside compatriot Shrivalli Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty, making this her second ITF Doubles Finals appearance in 2025.
