Punjab Kings batter Shashank Singh credited his team’s 18-run victory over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to its extensive practice sessions at the Mullanpur ground.
After a disappointing home season last year, PBKS made a conscious effort to prepare more thoroughly this time.
“We had productive practice sessions, with a lot of work put in before the IPL. We played several practice games and matches here, which helped us understand the conditions better,” Shashank said at the post-match press conference.
