Wimbledon 2025: Bhambri/Galloway Fall Short in Thriller Against 4th Seeds
Yuki Bhambri and Rob Galloway’s impressive Wimbledon run came to an end in the third round of the Gentlemen’s Doubles, as they narrowly lost to the fourth-seeded pair and reigning French Open champions Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos in a high-quality contest.
The Indo-American duo put up a strong fight, especially in the deciding set tiebreak where they clawed back from 2-5 down, but eventually went down 4-6, 6-3, 6-7 [4-10]. The match showcased exceptional doubles tennis, with both teams delivering sharp net play and clutch serving throughout.
While the margins were razor-thin, Bhambri and Galloway can take heart from their performance against one of the most experienced pairs on tour. Their spirited showing further cements Bhambri’s growing stature in the Grand Slam doubles arena, slowly but surely.
