Yuki Bhambri Set For Indian Wells Doubles Debut

Fresh off his historic doubles title in Dubai, Indian Doubles No.2 and World No.39 Yuki Bhambri is set to compete at the prestigious Indian Wells Masters. Partnering with Sweden’s Andre Goransson, Bhambri made the cut into the main draw after initially being the first alternates, securing a spot following the withdrawal of Flavio Cobolli and Lorenzo Musetti.

This marks Bhambri’s second Masters 1000 doubles main draw appearance. His first came at Miami 2024, where he partnered with Michael Venus but exited in the first round.

Bhambri has fond memories of Indian Wells, having reached the third round of the singles event in 2018, which included a notable victory over then-World No.12 Lucas Pouille. This time, he will look to make an impact in doubles alongside Goransson.

The Indo-Swedish duo will kick off their campaign against Belgium’s Sander Gille and Poland’s Jan Zielinski, with their opening match expected to take place on Monday, March 10. With momentum on his side, Bhambri will aim to continue his strong form on the big stage.
